NCW Media launches new local shopping service
Mobile is hot. According to the latest Smart Insights report 51% of digital media users time is spent on mobile devices while only 42% is spent on desktop or laptop devices. It should be no surprise since smart phone ownership has grown from 62 million in 2010 to 207 million this year.

Recognizing that trend NCW Media newspapers have launched a new mobile optimized directory service. Mobile optimized does not just mean the site is available on your smart phone. It means the site is specifically designed to function on a mobile device. Each listing is designed to fit on your screen without pinching, dragging or zooming so you can read all of the content. That's right - text and images are presented in the available viewing space in a readable format.
